Captain app
Order at the table, not at the counter.
Stewards take the order on an Android phone and send it straight to the kitchen and the till. Fewer trips to the counter, fewer mistakes, and a faster table.
On the floor
A steward’s whole job, on one screen.
Take the order, send it, move to the next table. Everything else is the till’s job, not the phone’s.
The live menu in hand
The same categories, items and modifiers as the till, with veg and non-veg marks, right at the table.
Build the order as they order
Add items, quantities and notes tap by tap, and send the whole round to the kitchen in one action.
Straight to the kitchen
A sent round becomes a KOT at the till and prints at the right station. No chit walks across the floor.
Works on the outlet’s network
Captains reach the till over the local network, so orders land even when the internet does not.
Made for one-handed use
Large targets, a reachable primary action, and a flow a steward can run without looking twice.
Runs on ordinary Android
Any reasonably recent Android phone. Pair it with the till once and it is ready for the floor.
How it talks to the till
The phone sends. The till decides.
Captains never own the order or the bill. They send commands to the till over the local network, and the till, the outlet’s one source of truth, applies them and prints the tickets.
- Orders travel on the outlet’s LAN, so they do not depend on the internet.
- The till assigns the KOT and the invoice number, never the phone.
- Every command is recorded, so who added what is always clear.
