About
The company behind ZaikaLab.
ZaikaLab is built by Durrani Lab Private Limited: an offline-first billing, kitchen and GST system for Indian restaurants, made by people who think a till should never wait on the internet.
Why we built it
A till that respects a busy floor.
Too many restaurant systems are cloud-first: elegant in a demo, frozen the moment the connection drops in the middle of a Saturday rush. We thought that was the wrong way round for a country where the internet is not a given.
So ZaikaLab puts the outlet in charge. One Windows till is the source of truth. Captains take orders at the table. The cloud keeps the owner informed and catches up whenever it can. Nothing on the floor waits for a network.
What we value
Three things we do not compromise on.
Offline-first, always
A restaurant cannot pause service because the line dropped. Everything we build works at the outlet first.
Built for India
GST to the paise, Indian-format money and invoices, and prices that make sense for an independent outlet.
Your data is yours
The full record lives on your machine. The cloud is a copy for reporting, never a place your data is held hostage.
